Friday Night Football - Not in the Rain!

Well its Friday Night, and most students and communities get excited about local high school football games.  But, not in the Town of Mansfield, Massachusetts!  Tonight's game has been postponed until tomorrow because of rain. 

That is right, there is rain in the forcast (as it was spelled on the Mansfield football website), not lightning, not hail, not a blizzard, rain, simple rain.  What is the reason for cancelling the game because of rain.  The players may get dirty and muddy?  The grass and mud stains may be really hard to get out of the uniforms? The spectators butts will get wet on the bleachers? The administrators are afraid of someone getting the sniffles? Someone, please enlighten me!

What would Coach Eric Taylor say if a Panther/Lion game was going to get postponed because of rain.



Once again it seems as if the wussification of the Commonwealth continues, as now we do not want to let our kids play in the rain, and the lefty liberals of Massachusetts communities will continue to make sure our children never face adversity.
