Occupy Personal Responsibility

So the Occupy Wall Street Movement has moved to Boston.  These jobless, crybabies have set-up camp on the Rose Kennedy Greenway adjacent to South Station.
Here is a picture of their refugee camp from my car window:

Its not a great picture, but I was actually driving to a job to apparently support all the whiny protesters who choose not to work and simply demand things be given to them.
What I really don't understand is what exactly are these kids protesting.  You are mad at Wall Street because of the mortgage mess and bailouts.  Well if you are mad at the mortgage mess, why don't you protest all those people who defaulted on their loans.  Remember, in order to get a mortgage a person must go to the bank, beg and plead for a loan, then sign, usually in triplicate, that they understand the terms and agree to pay bank.  the banks did not force anyone into these mortgages.  Secondly, if you are upset about the bailouts, then why don't you protest the government who authorized the bailouts.  The banks couldn't bail themselves out, and it was our elected officials who gave them our money.

The "Occupy Wall Street" protesters have listed 13 proposed demands from their website, here are a few of them:

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.
Demand four: Free college education.
Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.
Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.
Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.
These are some of my favorites.  So what I am understanding is that everyone gets a living wage whether they work or not.  They can get a free college education, but then will not have to work afterward because of previously stated living wage.  Then anyone from anywhere can come and live in this great country receiving stated living wage and educations.  And finally all debt will be wiped out.  Sounds like a great idea, sign me up.  I am ready to quit my job, and get this living wage.  I guess working for a living is for suckers!
Seriously, what is wrong with these people.  Whatever happened to personal responsibility.  Did these kids parents never teach them that?  Well, I have a lesson for you misguided, entitled crybabies.  Get a backbone and toughen up.  Hard work is how you become rich in life, not whining for handouts.  I hear you complaining that college was too expensive and you have too many loans, and the job market is not what you thought it would be.  Well, nobody forced you to go to college, that was a choice you made.  Many people have loans and do you know what they do?  They pay them back!!!  There are jobs available, but it is not my fault you decided to study French Impressionst History as opposed to something useful like Business or Accounting.  In addition, you can go wait tables, sling boxes at FedEx, or many other "non-glamorous"jobs.  A person with true character, which apparently the Occupy protesters do not have will do whatever it takes to feed their family and meet their financial obligations.  Not these babies, they want me and many other hardworking Americans to simply turn over what we have worked hard to earn.  I heard one protester state to Fox News,"“If the rich were willing to share, we could all live in prosperity.”  Well Fox News, here is a quote from Tassi, "If the lazy would work hard, quit whining and be accountable for themselves, then we could all live in prosperity."  I am sick and tired of people wanting equality by bringing the successful down.  About a system of class equality from the bottom up instead of the top down.  the real funny thing about the Occupy Boston protesters is that they want the successful to share with them.  However the were unwilling to share with the homeless when many of Boston's finest street dwellers were excited about the prospect of tents and pillows at the "camp."  So the protesters want me to give to them, but in turn do not want to give to the homeless.  So, this issue has me really excited as you can read.  I am not even going into the Mayor allowing these people to camp in a public park in which no camping is allowed. That is a story for another day.
My final piece of advice for the protesters is - why don't you go occupy something more beneficial, like a job!
